Sinus Clear 15mL Tin

A blend of anti-bacterial, anti-fungal & anti-inflammatory herbs & oils. Apply a dab inside each nostril as needed to ease discomfort of blocked sinuses.

Made with: Macerations of Comfrey & Calendula in Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Beeswax, E.O. of Turmeric, Manuka, Cloves and Thyme.

We bought the tins as 10ml & had labels printed, but in actual fact they have at least 15ml in them.

The story behind this remedy: Geoff developed chronic sinus problems about three years ago. Geoff tried everything we could think of, flushing with salt & baking soda solution, herb steam baths, homeopathics, supplements & tonics, antibiotics, steroids & finally surgery, nothing gave any lasting improvement.

Then we became aware of the role that fungal infections play, some articles stated that over 90% of people with sinus problems also had fungal infections.

Looking around our selection of remedies, Geoff decided to try Athlete’s Foot Balm in his nose. Drastic sounding, but quite logical really! Overnight his breathing cleared noticeably & over several days he could breathe freely. We were suitably amazed & very relieved,  it’s rather ironic that we had the cure right before us the whole time.

That was about six months ago, & Geoff has been pretty much symptom free, & I get to sleep at night! He uses a little of the Balm whenever his nose feels a bit stuffy, from dust or a bit of a head cold. Since then we have searched out people with sinus problems & given them sample pots, we’ve had consistently positive feedback, so now we are ready to put this into our range.

We’ve taken the Athlete’s Foot Balm recipe & added organic Coconut Oil (from fresh nuts not dried, as the dried husks may introduce fungi to the system), from what we’ve researched it seems that the Lauric Acid is the beneficial ingredient which is anti- fungal & anti-viral, & we’ve taken out the Tumeric powder so the ointment isn’t so yellow.
