Elderflower Ointment

Sambucus nigra. We pick the creamy flower heads in November, and fill up the jars with olive oil, the smell is pure Springtime for us. The cream is used to soothe rough and chapped skin. It's ideal to put on after shaving, and we use the Elderflower Oil in our Shaving Soap and Aftershave Balm recipes. Traditionally used to remove freckles and skin blemishes (although we can't vouch for that!).
