We pick the creamy flower heads in November, and fill up the jars with sunflower oil. The smell is pure Springtime for us. The ointment is used to soothe rough and chapped skin and is also ideal to put on after shaving. Traditionally used to remove freckles and skin blemishes (although we can't vouch for that!).

Made with: Maceration of Elderflowers (Sambucus nigra) in Sunflower Oil, Beeswax.

*We use the Elderflower Oil in our Aftershave Balm, Eczema Cream, A.K. Balm, and Hand Salves.

** Please note, the label for the 30mL jar says Elderflower "Cream", but it is in fact Elderflower Ointment (We are trying to use up redundant labels).
