The basis of this recipe is over 2,000 years old and was invented by a philosopher called Galen, in Turkey. The original recipe was Olive Oil, Rosewater and Beeswax, but we’ve taken the liberty of adding Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Rose Geranium.

Galen’s Cold Cream can be used as a cleanser, night cream or everyday face cream if you have dry skin.

Made with: Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Water, Beeswax, Rose Hydrosol, Rose Geranium Essential Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Borax.

It seems that in NZ at the moment, aluminium is a better option than plastic for recycling. Where possible we are gradually replacing plastic pots with aluminium tins. This product will now be coming in a tin.
